1. Mouth breathers...You know you know who they are. The people who constantly breathe through their mouth and, if like me, they annoy the crap out of you. Well folks...my child is a bona-fide mouth breather. All day, every day it seems. I've learned to deal with it and cannot help but laugh when I hear him breathing through that precious little mouth. I just hope for future girlfriends' sake that he grows out of it. Or, sadly, he will have a crusty mouth and that is disgusting.
2. I like your baby. That's what a little girl did after she tapped my arm twice while I was standing in a line at Walmart. It technically wasn't my baby that made me laugh but it did however make me think of when Wyatt starts talking and all the hilarious things he says. I will, at the point, be very thankful I have a blog!
3. Wyatt spits out his paci within minutes of falling asleep or we sneak in there and pull the plug. We normally just set it next to him. This morning he was waking up and so got up to go get him up for the day and I found the plug in upside down. It was so cute I couldn't help but be amused at the little guy.
4. We (I) had my first spill EVER in my life in a restaurant. On any other occasion I probably would have been mortified spilling an entire glass of water in a full restaurant...but now...because Wyatt's sweet little hand was the reason my cup went flying over the edge I just laughed. Didn't even get the burning sensation of embarrassment. Nope. I've embraced motherhood completely. It's only going to get worse over the years. I can't wait for the first trantrum in a department store.
5. We've got an army crawler. Correction...we have a wounded army crawler. Either way it's cute. What makes it hilarious is that my dear little boy had the crawling toots. Lift, pull, toot. Lift, pull, toot. That my friends is funny either way you look at it.

Whimsical Christmas Wreath
I am an old married lady.
Why Sarah...why on Earth do you say that?
Easy my friends...
I was crafting on a Friday night.
Long gone are the nights of dressing up looking "h-o-t-t hott."
Instead, I tuck in a little boy at 8:00, crank up some Pandora and set off to make the Davis family a whimsical Christmas wreath that I had been eye-balling on Pinterest...Don't act like you haven't seen the one I'm talking about. I must say, I actually like mine better.
The damage...

Thankful Thursday
Every morning I get to wake up to this:
A cute, chubby, healthy, beautiful little boy named Wyatt Hudson.
Before having Wyatt, I had a wonderful life...full of love, happiness, and lots and lots of laughs.
After Wyatt, those things multiplied.
I love my son in a way that you couldn't image. Well, I actually always describe it as "wanting to eat him." That's strange though and I think for non-parents is seemingly sick. But, I think for people that do have babies you may possibly get it. (That, or I really am that weird.) I just cannot get enough of him and his cuteness has me wanting to gobble him up. He is absolutely hilarious and get this...doesn't even try to be. I know that he loves me unconditionally and for that I am grateful.
I'm not sure how I got so lucky. I was graciously given a precious little boy and that is one thing I will never take for granted.

30 weeks
I tried some Mixed Berry yogurt melts...
They were just so so...
I tried my new mesh feeder with a real banana...
and it was awesome.
I also tried out some stinky little toes...
Definitely yummy too.

Family Pictures
Saturday morning we took our first family photos for our Christmas cards this year. It was so much fun and luckily we had a cooperative baby. Here are some of my favorites...
And for laughs...
Can't wait to share our Christmas cards!!

Time Change
Normally, an extra hour of sleep would sound marvelous. Right? Right. But, when you have a baby who rocks with his sleeping schedule all I could think about was Wyatt waking up at an earlier hour and it scared me to death. Luckily, he woke up probably about 7 (which was totally expected since he rises right about 8)and then I changed him and tucked him right into bed with me and we didn't wake up until 8:30 when, to me, seemed like a more appropriate time to be awake eating. I'm glad he is such an adaptable little baby and I honestly shouldn't be afraid of a baby waking up at the VERY reasonable time of 7 am. It could be way, way worse...think a non-sleeping baby worse.
Here's to the new week...Hope it's a great one! My birthday is in less than 2 weeks. That's room for excitement. And also, here is a picture of Wyatt from yesterday's little family shoot for Christmas cards. I'll post some more later this week!
