There are a number of things in my life that I am beyond thankful and I always will be. My husband, my family, my friends, and my puppy. My education, my job, my loyalty, my integrity, my drive, my ambition, and my honesty. I could go on and on about the things that I am thankful for because it's so easy for me to realize the things. Last night, before going to bed I started a new book, Mommywood, by Tori Spelling and it randomly had me thinking about all the things that I love...therefore, I wanted to share. Let me begin.
I love my husband. I love our marriage. I love being "tucked in" by him everynight. I love hearing I love you before I fall asleep, getting cuddled every morning when our alarm goes off...knowing that he is the one person that I can turned to with life's ups and downs and know that he will never judge me. I love our fur-baby. I love knowing that every morning that Ryan leaves before me he is going to lock the door on his way out, regardless that I am about 2 minutes behind him. I love that if neither of us have heard from each other by about 10 am, one of us will send the I love you, have a good day text. I love that we have lunch dates just about every day. I love my husband's smile, especially when it is for me. I love that he treats Marley like a real child. I love that we kid about my "bun in the oven." I love that we always watch the Atlanta Braves on the computer when they're not on tv. I love how annoyed I can get with him, but still want to be lovin' on him. I love when he acts like a 5 year old. Pouting, wanting to get his way. I love that he bought me a lily to plant on Mothers Day in a subtle manner. I love that he looks forward to Christmases now rather than dreading it. I love "girl talk" that we have which simply means we recap us dating and who fell in love with who first. For the record, he fell first...and quickly! I love that we help each other with everything-- laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc. I love dancing with Ryan and just being silly. I love that we can argue with the best of them, but never forget that we love one another and we're not always going to agree. I love that he lets me "wear the pants in the relationship." I love my husband that runs around the house naked, playing with Marley, making him catch his wash cloth. I can't imagine my life without him. He is my husband and I love married life...more than anything. We are a very, very blessed couple. We realize this and will be forever thankful for it!
We are leaving Friday for Alaska and our honeymoon. It is going to be a great time and we cannot wait to experience it together!! I love being in Alaska with my husband...that's next on my "love list."
