Claire 9 months

9 months!!!

Fun stuff happening...

-weigh 19.6 lbs
-are wearing size 3 diapers, size 9-12 month clothes, and a size 3 shoe
-now have 2 bottom teeth! so cute!
-have started walking pushing various things around the house
-take 4 6oz bottles
-started eating finger foods and you love feeding yourself
-you think Wyatt is so funny
-smiles come so quick from you
-you take 2 naps a day about 10 and 1
-sleep for 12 hours straight at night and we've finally got you to where you can make it to about 7-7:30 now! ha!
You have been the sweetest addition to our lives. I cannot believe that we are coming upon your first birthday!

Claire 8 months

Sweet girl!! 8 months have flown by. It makes me sad but it is also so exciting to see what you are learning each day.

At 8 months you...

-weigh 17.8lbs

-wear size 3 diapers, size 12 month jammies, and 9 and 12 month clothes

-you take 2 solid naps a day and sometimes squeeze in a catnap in the evening

-you sleep 7-7

- you take 4 bottles, love Cheerios, and still aren't too big on veggies

-crawl everywhere and pull up on everything 

-haven't quite mastered sitting back down yet

-you quit sucking your thumb and you never take a paci 

-you have zero teeth, but we can always tell when they are pestering you

-jibber jabber and squeal

-love watching your brother

Claire 7 months

Sissy is 7 months old!

-weighs 17.8 lbs

-in 6-9 month clothes 

-size 3 diaper

-takes 4-5 bottles a day along with baby food, yogurt, oatmeal, puffs, and yogurt melts

-drinks water from her sippy cup

-sits up all by herself

-goes from laying down to sitting up 

-sleeps 12 hours typically 7-7

-adjusted to "school" 3 days a week fairly well

Claire 6 months

Claire, my sweet baby girl, is already 6 months old!!

Impossible.

The past 6 months have been so wonderful. She has blessed our life in a way I could have never imagined. I feel so lucky that I get to love on her each day!

She weighs about 16.5 lbs
-is wearing a size 3 diaper, size 3-6 and 6 month clothes and is in 6-9 month sleepers.
-sleeps from 7-7/8 without waking up. (PLT that I have two wonderful sleepers!)

-takes 3 naps a day, one of those being a little cat nap
-Eat 6-7 oz bottles and it seems that she enjoys fruit much, much more than veggies.

-Loves teething rings the most
-grabs toys and rolls all over the place
-Started tucking her little legs up under her. I can tell she is preparing to start crawling and gets super frustrated when she can't get where she really wants to go
-gets tickled at Wyatt and her kitty
-Is a thumb sucker still (love!)
-

Claire 5 months

-You weigh 15-16 lbs
-You take 5-6 6 oz bottles a day depending on what time you decided to start you day as well as an entire of either a fruit or veggie.
-You are asleep for bed no later than7:30 and we wake you up for a feeding at 10:30 otherwise you will be ready to eat at 4am and that is not okay! Otherwise you start your day anywhere between 6 and 7.
-You take 3 naps a day, but your wake time is getting much longer and one of your naps is getting a lot shorter.
-You are in size 3-6 mo, 6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper, but I'm going to go ahead and bump you up to a 3.

-You get so ticked when we are making your bottle, putting on your bib, and getting situated to feed you. Patience is clearly not your thing and you certainly got that from your momma.
-You roll both ways and squirm all over the place
-You rarely take a paci, you much prefer your thumb.
-You love your feet and we've caught you sucking on your toes twice already.
-You just jibber jabber away.
-Things that make you laugh the most: watching Wyatt do anything and riding in the car talking to the things that hang across the handle.
-You watch tv and are content to sit there with your toys in front of you letting Mickey or whoever entertain you for a bit. I know you like it because you squeal and laugh. That's typically what you get to do while we get around in the mornings.
-You grab and reach for toys now and you can pull your paci out and put it back in...just to spit it right back out.
-You LOVE to look at yourself in the mirror. Which comes as no surprise because there is such a pretty little girl looking back at you!

Claire 4 months

4 months old!

 

 

 

Claire is 4 months old. It’s so hard to believe that my little love is already this big. It flies by with the first, but with the second it’s super sonic speed.

Let’s catch up on what sister has been up to…

 

-Weigh 14lbs and are 24.5 in long

-You are wearing 3-6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper

-You eat 5-6 oz every 3 hours for a total of 5 bottles. Sometimes you eat an entire bottle other times you are content with just 4 oz.

-You sleep through the night like a little angel

-You roll over both ways!! Such a big girl! Therefore...

-You have started sleeping on your belly. I hate this…I remember hating it with Wyatt at first too.

-You are no longer swaddled. Mimi broke you of that while we were camping 2 weeks ago.

-You love to be tickled and think your brother is so funny.

-Like every girl, you love to look at yourself in the mirror.

-You take your paci only to fall asleep.

-You are so low maintence.

-Your hair is getting long and still falling out. At least you have quite grabbing clumps of it out. Thank goodness!

-You like to watch Marley and follow him all around the room.

-You wiggle all over the place.

-You will focus in on some cartoons for a while.

 

You are such a joy to have in our lives Claire.

Claire 3 months old

Claire is 3 months old!

At 3 months old:
-You are such an early-bird! Your schedule is as follows (starting with bedtime):
...Bedtime is anywhere between 6:00-7 and you take a 5 oz bottle, but it is usually closer to 6:30
... If you wake up "prematurely" it's around 4 and you take your paci and go back to sleep
   5:30-7 you take your first bottle for the day (early bird!!) Anytime after 5:30 you won't stay asleep so we just start your day at that time.
...(Going with a 6:00 morning feeding) You will take a 5oz bottle
...7:00-7:15 you go down for a nap
...9:00 you eat a 5oz bottle
...10:00-10:30 nap time
...12 wake up and eat a 5 oz bottle
...1:00-1:30 nap time
...3 wake up for a 5 oz bottle
...4:30ish you will take a little cat nap that's usually about 20-30 minutes
...you usually play/get held until right at 6:00 when we feed you 5oz and get you ready for bed

This is your schedule...your predictable 3 hour schedule and it makes it so much easier for me and her grandmas that watch her.

 -Found your fists and enjoy chewing on them
-Just chatter away
-You actually sit/lay and watch the tv

-Starting to laugh more

-Take a paci but only to fall back asleep

-Sleep swaddled

-Roll over belly to back

-Are starting to find Wyatt very interesting and even laugh at his antics.

 

Claire we are so in love with you! These three months have just flown by, but we have enjoyed them so much!

 

Claire 2 months

Sweet Claire is 2 months old today!

-You weigh probably 11 or so pounds. I am a terrible weight guesser, but we will know Friday at your 2 month appointment.

-You are eating 3-4 ounces every 3 hours.

-You are on your very predictable 3 hour schedule. Eat, Wake, Sleep. I love this because I always konw what you need.

-You are in a size 1 diaper, size 3 month clothes, and 3-6 month jammies!

-You are cooing and smiling during your wake time

-Rolling belly to back

-Don't mind tummy time

-Don't really care for your bouncy. You would much rather be up on our shoulder looking out when you are held

-You are a pretty easy baby. You're slightly high maintence.

-You sleep swaddled for naps and bedtime

-You are only waking once during the night and that's usually anywhere between 2-4. You wake for the day anywhere between 7-8.

 

These two months have flown by! I love every minute of having a sweet baby girl!

 

 

Look how big she has already gotten!!

 

Claire 1 month

Claire is 1 month old!

 

 

 

-You weigh close to 10lbs

-You are wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diaper

-You are eating 3-4oz every 3 hours with a little Karo syrup in your bottle

-You are waking up once during the night for a feeding

-We do a dream feed about 10 or 11 and you will go 5 hours before needing to be fed again

-I'm looking forward to you sleeping through the night, but I am so thankful that you only wake once before you wake for the day

-Your wake time is getting longer!

-You are a Babywise baby just like your brother, the only difference is he was already making it all the way through the night by now. Your time will come!

-You take a paci, but spit it out as soon as you're asleep

-You love to be swaddled

-You are sleeping in your room in your swing since you are a little congested.
