Bump/Shades of Grey

First of all, thank you so much for the congratulations on our wonderful news!
I will be 7 weeks in just a couple days and let me tell you, morning sickness has set in full force. It is worse first thing in the morning and right before I go to bed. It comes and goes throughout the day and it is truly no fun at all. I gag every time I brush my teeth and I have that gross “mouth is watering because I’m about to vomit” that just lingers. I haven’t been much more tired this go around and I think it’s due to the fact that my body doesn’t have “time” to rest with a 14 month old. I’m hoping the morning sickness subsides very soon. I swear I already look 12 weeks pregnant. I’m not even kidding. If this is any indication how I will look after the 9 months is up I am a little terrified of how I am going to look. I just have to keep reminding myself that the end product is completely worth it.
4 weeks, 5 days
5 weeks, 5 days

Wow, right? They aren't kidding when they say you get bigger quicker. I usually look this big after I eat. In the second picture I had just ate a baked potato and salad. Crazy.

We’ve been busy lately and I’ve got to do some catch up posts hopefully tomorrow. Okay, I lied…we haven’t really been any busier since my last post: date night and Father’s Day is pretty much the extent of “busy.”
Confession: I’ve just become all consumed with Christian Grey. Yup, I one of those sleazy moms who reads “porn” as Ryan calls it. I started 50 Shades of Grey on Monday evening and finished last night. Yes, I have been reading for hours on end and no I am not the least bit ashamed of it. I am lucky to have a best friend that I can talk to about it. She too is all about some mommy porn apparently…as well as the rest of the world. Ha!

Friday's Randoms

-See this boat:
Well it is sitting in our drive way. Ryan thoroughly likes is. We are going to get lots and lots of fishing done in it. That's all I am going to say about it...

-Wyatt and I get out of the house every Thursday and Friday even if it's for 30 minutes. Because he doesn't go to a daycare and his grandmas come to our house to watch him he normally doesn't leave the house Monday-Wednesday. It's my mission to get him out of the house those two days so he doesn't go stir crazy. Today we went to get my rings cleaned and to drop off another one that had a broken prong and a missing diamond. I love when my rings are so shiny and new looking!
-I had a baby and suddenly I've sprouted a ridiculous amount of hair near my temples. I know that it is new growth, but it is out of control and there is not a thing I can do about it!
-Speaking of hair, I am getting mine trimmed next week and I really want bangs straight across. That will never happen, but for 2.3 seconds I think it'd be alright.

-Is there a food you can eat entirely too much of and not even be phased by it? For me, it's probably blueberry muffins. Every time we make a batch I can single-handedly eat 9 out of the 12 we've made. This morning after I made some Wyatt gobbled one right up. We have no shame for our love of muffins!

-We haven't rented a movie in a very, very long time. I got on Redbox to reserve us a couple movies and realized there was entire list I wanted to see. We will see if we get half way through this list.
-Tonight we have plans to watch these:

-Will let you know how they even though I'm almost certain they've been out for awhile.

- I remember when I liked  Facebook...back when bumper stickers were so "in." It was my favorite thing ever to get a new one from my friends. Those were the days. Now, I basically use FB to upload pictures to which has very little for the month of January. Sigh.
-Mentioning pictures, I approved my repairs from Nikon on my camera yesterday. It is $12 shy of being half of what we paid for it. Ryan will shoot me in the foot if I damage my camera again. Good news? I should have my camera back in about 2 more weeks. Woo!

-Since I've finished The Hunger Games books my desire to read seems non-existent. Maybe I will get it going again though. I just know nothing will top what I just read. Ever. I have Love Times Three up next...we will see how it is.

-I haven't seen Bobby cat in a day and a half. I hope I see him tonight. If he has ran away or gotten hurt I will be crushed.

-I hated saying no to something that had the potential to be so great career wise. However, I know that I am so lucky and blessed to work part-time and spend it with Wyatt. Since we are trying to another baby I know that the timing is not perfect, but I feel it's what I should be doing.

-I'm trying to get through my Lifetime movies that are DVR'ed. All I know is there is a lot of rape, backstabbing, bad clothing, screaming, and crying. Yet, I can't seem to get enough.

-I suppose that's all! Hope you have a great weekend!

Late to the party

It seems that I have arrived late to yet another party...

Okay, let's be honest. I despise being late. Despise it. My hands get all clammy, I sweat, my heart rate rises, and then I'm just grumpy. Punctuality is one of my stronger points.

Well, that was until I met and married Ryan. We seem to be late for everything now. If I am destined to be somewhere alone I can make it on time. Add my dearest husband into the mix and you can immediately kiss it goodbye. Even Wyatt doesn't slow me down. With Ryan, for example on Christmas Eve morning, I (per usual)  hadto give us a 30 minute window. Our "appointment" was 11:30. Figure in the 20 minute drive I knew we had to shoot for 10:30. Did we make it on time? Yes. But only because I constantly nag Ryan to do this, do this, and did you do that? Nonetheless it works for us.

I completely went on a tangent there for what this post is about is of course being late, but being late to the party that is the obsession with none other than The Hunger Games.
I had heard people mention this series before but never gave much thought to it. Then, when we went to see the Breaking Dawn movie the preview was shown and I was immediately hooked. Not really knowing anything about the books, that little preview of it had me wanting to read it. Kudos to them since they are clearly doing their jobs. I finally got a Kindle (I say finally because I was adamant that I was a "hold the real book in your hands" type of girl but I read a book on mom's and was instantly converted) and The Hunger Games was the first book I downloaded. I started it Monday night and finished it on Wednesday. I seriously needed more hours in the day. I started Catching Fire two seconds after the first book and am still finding that I need more hours in the day. I have an obsessive personality. It's both good and bad. In this situation probably bad since I am dying to get through this book to move on to the next. My laundry, the dishes, the floors, everything has taken a backseat. Well, all except for Wyatt. The only time my kindle isn't in my hands is when Wyatt's awake. Homeboy's still got to eat, drink, play, and be changed you know. Priorities! Although I must admit, I have read it aloud to him a couple of times when he was winding down for naptime. Go ahead and judge me.
