-We do spank and you actually spank yourself
-We have to watch where we put things. Namely food close to the edge of a counters

-At 21 months your "stats" are all still the same.
-You had your second ear infection, but you are feeling tons better.

-We are still pottying here and there, but I'm definitely not pushing it.

19 months old
At 19 months you:
-Weigh 30 lbs
-Wearing 24 month pants, 2T-3T tops, and size 8.5 shoes
- Take one nap a day that is 2-3 hours
-Sleep 11-12 hours a night
-Have taken quite an interest in Marley. You LOVE to aggravate him and he secretly adores the attention. You two play keep away every night and no matter how many times we watch you two we always crack up. You get soo angry when Marley steals it from you. Very angry.
-You LOVE school!
-You added a few words to your vocabulary. My favorite is thank you.
-You are still signing more, milk, and please. I've seriously got to get "more please" on video because of how fast you "say" it.
-You can identify something that's blue and you say "bew." Your little voice is music to my ears.
-Mommy or momma is heard most often in our house. Along with puppy of course. You call for me or ask me for things- mommy, mommy, mommy and Ryan always says you just love that dont you and my answer is always yes!
-You had your first ear infection this month and it was not fun at all. Regardless, I am SO thankful it took you 19 months to get sick for the first time.
-You favorite toys are Scout, your 4 wheeler, and the laundry.
-You still have 12 teeth and don't mind them being brushed. You cooperate a whole heck of a lot better for me than you do your daddy when it comes to it.
-We are preparing to get rid of the paxi before Sister gets here. Wah Wah
-You are starting to throw little fits that consist of laying down on the ground crying like it's the end of the world. Our solution: We let you cry it right on out. You quickly realize that gets you no where and you stop.

18 months old
A year and a half!
Woah.
I've officially started saying, "He's a year and a half." when people ask how old he is. It's a little bittersweet.
At 18 months you are:
-30 lbs
-Wear 24 month and 2T clothes
-Wear a size 8.5 shoe
-Size 5 diaper
-Words: 10 that I can think off the top of my head, but I would say close to if not more than 15
-You call most animals puppy, except cats and you call them Bobby after your cat
-You sign more, milk, and please. I believe "thank you" will be next.
-You signed "more please" for the first time this week
-You take one nap a day
-Sleep 11-12 a night without interupption
-Still take your paci, but it's about to be gone. I am hoping you let it go easily
-Still obsessed with the laundry
-Moved up to the 2 year old room at school
-Love to brush your teeth
-We packed up the high chair and you are now sitting at the table with us like a big kid.
-You are becoming such a little boy and not a baby!
Wyatt the past year and a half have been nothing less than amazing. I love being your mommy!!

17 months old
Wyatt is 17 months old!!
I'm going to guess he is about 27-28 pounds. He is so active that I can tell he is slimming up just a hair. I'm going to guess too he is about 32 inches tall? I'm measure and weigh him next month for his 18 month post. (Year and a half? Whaatt?)
He is becoming so, so funny. He's always been funny but now he is down right hilarious. His facial expressions crack me up. See exhibit A:
He really enjoys taking off his diaper now days too.
I guess as long as he isn't taking them off in public we are going to be ok.
He goes to bed anywhere between 7:30 and 8:30 and sleeps for 12 hours. I just pray that his sister is as awesome as a sleeper as he has been. He takes only 1 nap a day anywhere from 2-3 hours.
Words you are using: Go, Puppy, Mommy, Dada, Coco (cookie), Bah (Bobby), Uh-oh, Oh-no, No.there are more, but I can't remember. I need to start writing them in my phone.
When you ask "What does a cow say?" He will reply with Mooo
Still enjoys school and still hates the nursery at church.
Favorite activities are still doing laundry and driving cars. Thank goodness for cooler weather in regards to the driving.
He hears about Claire daily and we always ask if he can say Claire. He's working on it for sure!
He is getting really good at feeding himself with his fork. He uses it for breakfast and dinner. He can't quite get the stabbing part so we have to stab his food, set his fork down, and he proceeds to feed himself. He sometimes won't eat food unless he is getting to use his fork.
He is starting to do imaginary play.
I can't believe my baby boy is nearly a year and a half old...time is flying but I am enjoying this age so much!!

16 months old
-Weigh 27.6lbs, wear a size 7 shoe, size 5 pampers diapers, size 18- 24 month clothes
-You have 10 teeth
-You finally have a vocabulary: puppy, mama, dada, poppa, coo for cookie, bel but for belly button, go
-You can identify your nose, belly button, and head
-You did your first flip
-You LOVE to brush your teeth. We brush morning and night. We simply as, “Wyatt do you want to brush your teeth?” and you will book it to the bathroom and stand on your tiptoes to try and reach it
-You are most notorious for randomly placing things throughout the house. Example: every night when we get ready to get ready for bed ourselves we ask each other where the toothpaste is.
-You walk around the house what I like to call “pondering” things. You walk around with your little hands behind your back
-You say Mmmm? In a high pitch tone as if asking, huh?
-Still are in love with your music and the laundry
-Oh the laundry. I will say you are really good at chores!
-You get so tickled at Marley. What’s even more fun is when Marley and you chase each other up and down the halls.
-You have zero interest in the tv aside from turning it on and off. What I would give for you to sit and watch even half an episode of a cartoon just ONCE!
-You love to be outside and helping mow the yard.
-You have a little flair for the dramatics especially when it comes to you not getting what you want.
-You can successfully climb onto all the chairs in the house. Setting things on the dining room table now has to been given a second thought.
-You are becoming a little picky about what you eat. This isn’t very fun. It seems in the world of ice cream, oreos, and sweet who has time for veggies? Luckily we can get you to eat fruits anytime. You aren’t a fan of your food being cut up into “baby” pieces anymore and the cutest thing is giving you your own slice of pizza. (Mommy’s favorite food.)
-Speaking of Oreas- it turns out you are not like your daddy in that you are a twister and not a dunker.
-You also LOVE getting money for your piggy bank.

15 months old
Your 15 month bday was actually a week ago, but today we had your shots so I saved it so I can have your stats.
-You are 27 lbs and 31.5 inches tall.
- You biggest obsession is the washing machine and dryer. You are such a big helper when it comes to laundry. We can ask you if you want to go do laundry and you will immediately go to the laundry room. You will put clothes in the washer and dryer as we hand them to you. You seriously cannot get enough of it and to be honest I think it wears us all out. You are equally obsessed with Mimi and Pawpaw's. You would be Nana's too, but hers are always behind closed doors.
-You are still such a good sleeper and such an easy going little guy. Thank you, thank you.
-You still aren't big on words, but you talk nonstop.
-This month we shared that you are going to be a big brother!
-You love being outside and I just wish that it was cooler so you could go play more often.
-You have started climbing on to things and it scared the crap out of me. You have successfully fallen off the couch twice.
-You are just so busy. You absolutely wear me out, but I truly wouldn't have it any other way!
-You got stinkin' shots today...

But, you also got your first sucker today and you forgot about the shots after about 3 seconds.
We hung out in the car to wait for any reaction and you were in baby heaven just chillin' with your sucker.
I think you were thanking Jesus here.
You were quite a sticky mess afterwards, but it was worth it!

Wyatt’s 13 month post:
-Weighs 27.2 lbs
-Wears size 5 diapers
-Shoes size: 6.5 tennis shoes and 7 sandals
-He has started dancing, especially when you say “Shake it!”
-When you ask him “Where’s your belly button?” He will lift up his shirt and find it and then laugh every time.
-Follows simple commands such as go get such and such and bring it here.
-Throws the occasional tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. These do nothing but make me laugh.
-Has 6 teeth- 4 on top, 2 on bottom.
-Loves to eat just about anything. Still not a fan of potatoes. Loves his milk and his water.
- Waves bye-bye to us which is nothing new, but now he has began to really register what “bye-bye” means.
- Loves to give Marley love.
-Could be outside 24/7.
-Enjoyed his first Major League Baseball game and was such a trooper!
-Runs like a crazy person up and down the halls.
-Has the biggest, heartiest laugh.
-Loves to take a bath and usually resembles something of a baby seal.
-Has learned to look between his legs and it's just about my favorite thing he does right now. My mom says that her mom used to tell her that means they are looking for a sibling. Hey Wyatt! We are too!
- Loves playing in his tent.
-Is a bucking bronco whenever you change his poopy diaper and it is definitely not one of my favorite things.
-Says Mama and Dada along with the occasional babbling. He isn’t big on talking.

1 year appointment
Yesterday, I asked Ryan to picked up *a* cupcake FOR THE BABY. I mean, it was his birthday. It was only proper that he get cake. Well, Ryan brought home this:
Four cupcakes. Really?! Four of them? I only asked for one. Anyway, Ryan ate the majority of them I am proud to say. (I've got lots of pigging out to do tomorrow at his birthday party!)
Want to know who else lurved him some cupcake?
Honestly, are we surprised? Um. No. What doesn't this boy like? Besides potatoes. I'm still trying to figure out how this is humanly possible.
Today, baby had his 1 year well-baby visit. This also meant it was time for shots. Ugh!
After waiting for over an hour we finally got to go back. Daddy surprised us by sneaking up on us while we were checking in. Daddy got major brownie points for that one.
At 12 months Wyatt is:
26.9 pounds
30 in long
Big boy! More to love!
-You are wearing 18 month clothes
-Size 6 shoe
-Size 5 diapers
-You say mama, dada, nana, ga, ba. No real words though. You're the strong silent type.
-You are taking multiple steps here and there and it is adorable watching you walk around.
-You sleep 11-12 hours a night
-You no longer take a bottle
-You are on cow's milk and you haven't had a problem with it
-You love, love, love to scream
There are many, many more things that you are into. Namely, everything. You are such a joy to our lives and so much fun at this stage. You guessed it...it's my favorite!

Oh baby...you're almost not so much a baby any more but a "toddler." Whaaaa?
Here are the fun things going on with you during your 11th month:-You have taken two steps multiple times. The first time you did it was March 5. You are getting more and more brave. I won't claim you're a "walker" until you are truly walking, but you are in fact taking steps.
-You say Ba, Da, Na, Ga, and I occasionally hear Ma.
-You wear 12 month pants and 18 month tops and onesies. Your shoe size is a 6 and we are finishing up your size 4 diapers and you wear a size 5 while you sleep.
-You are still such a great eater and honestly eat anything that we give you. It is so nice!
-You and your puppy are becoming more of friends and Marley is truly loving dinner time.
-You have 3 teeth and we can see the 4th one is pushing through. You are pretty managable during this whole teething experience. Thank goodness!
-You still sleep for 11-12 hours a night.
-You push everything all around the house.
-You are interacting with your toys and it is so funny to see you figure out new stuff. Your favorites are still Scout, the alligator, and push walker.
You are such a blessing in our lives Wyatt and we cannot wait to see what you do in the coming month!!
Next month is your 1 year post. BOOOOO!!!
Also, on your 11 month birthday cousin Maycie was born and she is such a doll!
A glimpse of what our future possibly holds. Ha!
He also got to see sweet Taylor. She would say Iatt. Too cute. Luckily she forgave Wyatt when he tackled her. Seriously he is a beast of a kid.

10 months old
Someone isn't happy that he is getting older.
And you thought it was me, didn't you?
Okay, to be fair Wyatt doesn't mind getting older. In fact, I think he loves getting older and feeling like such a big boy. What he doesn't like is the fact that mommy made him sit down in his crib so I could get a picture.
He cheered up a bit though...
It is so hard to believe you 10 months old!!The highlights for the month:
-You take2 bottles a day- morning and night. You take two straw cups with milk during the day and about 3 cups of water as well. You LOVE water so much. I like thinking you get that from mommy.
-You are eating more table food, but still some of the baby food. I cook you veggies just about every night. Fresh fruits aren't so fresh since they are out of season, but I still feed you the good ones. I will be so happy when summer is here and we can fill your tummy with lots of fresh fruit. You have it in your head that once you sit in your high chair you are supposed to eat. This is always fun when we take you to a restaurant. Nonetheless you are a very good baby out at lunches and dinners.
-You are still sleeping 11-12 hours a night and taking 2 naps a day.
-You are wearing 12 month and 18 month clothes and a size 5W shoe still as well as 18-36 month socks. You are still in a size 4 in your diaper.
-You are finally talking...Ba, Da, Ga, and every now and then I think I hear a Ma.
-You love to push your "grocery" cart (push-walker), laundry baskets, tables, anything that will move really.
-You are cruising along the furniture, tables, and between chairs and tables.
-You stand unassisted and sit down very slowly.
-Bath time is your absolute favorite time of the day I would have to say.
-You give high fives, give sugar (my favorite), and wave bye-bye but only when you really feel like it.
-You have two bottom teeth and the top ones are trying to come in too.
-You still only take a paci at bedtime. Also during sleep time you have found a new love in Scout that Misty bought you. He plays you bedtime music and you just cuddle up to him.
-You got your first real boo-boo this month.
Your Doug & Melissa puzzle fell on your toe, bruising it all up. The bottom of your toe looked like we pressed it in ink to get your print. It was very sad, but you didn't seem like it bothered you too much after the fact. Oh, you also got your feet stuck which is why I even took the 2 above pictures.
-Your favorite toy would have to be your green frog humidifier. You love putting it back together once you take it apart. This will easily keep you entertained for 20 minutes at a time.
-You still could care less about the tv.
-You are starting to "jump" when we tell you. You slam your head back in your high chair when we tell you "ouch" and you continue to be extremely ticklish on your back.
-You LOVE the bathroom, the toilet, the tub. You could stay in the bathroom all day if we let you. It kind of sort of grosses me out too, but it is what it is.
That's all I can really think of right now. I had a whole list on my phone, but daddy broke it over the weekend. (He still denies it.) Hopefully I didn't leave anything big out!

9 months old
Wyatt you are 9 months old today!
Since our last monthly post so much has changed with you…
-We moved you to a big boy convertible car seat, still rear-facing of course. You like it a whole lot more because you can see a lot better.
-We still have you in size 3 Pampers just because we are finishing up the packages we have left. I changed my Amazon order so this month we got your first shipment of size 4s. I foresee us staying in 4s awhile, just like the 3s.
- You have two beautiful little teeth that just shine!
-You are pulling up, chillin’, and sitting back down on everything. You really like to push around the chairs, lick the tv, and be the captain of your pirate ship. You get so squirmy when we try to hold you. You just want to be standing up opening and closing cabinet doors.
-You are cruising around on the furniture. You will stand up next to the couch and then inch your way down to us. It’s fun and scary. You use your walker now, but on the outside. You will stand up, push it away, and then walk with it. The only bad thing is that sometimes it gets ahead of you.-We’ve started rocking you to sleep. You are such a busy bee that you refuse to go to bed without us winding you down. Therefore, we feed you and then rock you to sleep. You are out like a light within 10 minutes. We turn off all the lights and just rock. Once I think you realize we aren’t throwing a party you give up. It’s sweet getting to rock you though since we never did when you were a baby-baby.
-You know how to crawl stairs which Mimi and Pawpaw taught you. You get up those things and quick.
-You know exactly what “no” means and will get upset when we tell it to you.
-You are still taking 4 bottles a day. I’ve taken away the 2nd and 3rd bottle and put the milk in your cup with a straw. I don’t call it a sippy because we threw those our forever ago so it’s just your “cup.” You drink just fine. No we just have to get the Grandmas on bored. (Nana admitted to caving.) You get oatmeal, a fruit, a veggie and then your snacks vary. You still LOVE your yogurt and are a big fan of cheese. We give you whatever we are eating and it’s still so nice. You are starting to feed yourself with a spoon and it’s like you can’t shovel it in fast enough. You would eat all day if we let you. You are still such a water baby and could drink that all day without stopping if we let you as well.- Still taking a paci only for sleeping.
-Wearing 9 month, 12 month, and 18 month clothes and still a size 5W. - You know how to “find” us when we are somewhere else in the house. It’s so funny .
- You get SO excited whenever we get home from work. I just eat it up.
-You give kisses when we ask, give us high fives, and when you are feeling up to it wave bye-bye.
-You only squeal and say “heeeey” or “ehhh” still. I am still waiting to hear mama or dada.
-You LOVE to be a naked baby. We let you be naked about 15-20 minutes before bath time and you are such a hoot. You will crawl around so fast and will just get so excited when you sit or stand. It’s so precious.
-Bath time is still one of your favorite things. When you start getting grumpy in the evening because you are tired we strip you down and prepare for bath time. You are like a brand new baby during this time.
- You are still spending the night with Mimi and Nana. You spent new year’s eve with your nana and last weekend you stayed at Mimi because we didn’t want to wake you up at 11:30 to take you home so we let you have a sleep over. We may start letting you go stay a night a month at the grandmas, but not just on weekends since those are so precious and the time that daddy gets to see you the most.
- You do not watch tv at all. The closest you come to interacting with the tv is licking it.
- Changing your diaper is like wresting a 600lb alligator that has octopus legs. IT.IS.A.WORKOUT.
-You weigh 23 lbs.-You have never been to the doctor other than for well-baby visits and for that I am so thankful. He last saw you at 6 months and we are supposed to go for your 12 month visit. I’m hoping that you don’t go until then because that means you haven’t been sick.
