Well, I finished the 50 Shades series...in 5 days. Would have been much less, but things got in the way- work, sleep, eating, laundry, etc.
I can honestly say that I absolutely LOVED these books. Want to meet my Christian Grey?
Le sigh. If Ian Somerhalder isn't Christian Grey I may refuse to see the movies. True story.
I could care less who Anastasia is, I mean as long as she is pale, bites her lip, and flushes then I think we are good.
I would recommend these books to anyone who isn't easily offended by sexually graphic material and who doesn't mind the F word. The story actually ends up being really good and I have to say that my favorite was 50 Shades Freed, but I did start 50 Shades Darker last night again. I think Ryan is hating not getting to hang out with me very much because I have done nothing but read. Oh who am I kidding? He is thoroughly enjoying quiet time I'm sure.
I am sad the series is over... I am truly hoping she does another book from Christian's perspective. Now I just need another good book or series to read. Any suggestions? I've got a beach vacation coming up real soon and I'd like to get my Kindle filled up with good reads.

Bump/Shades of Grey
First of all, thank you so much for the congratulations on our wonderful news!
I will be 7 weeks in just a couple days and let me tell you, morning sickness has set in full force. It is worse first thing in the morning and right before I go to bed. It comes and goes throughout the day and it is truly no fun at all. I gag every time I brush my teeth and I have that gross “mouth is watering because I’m about to vomit” that just lingers. I haven’t been much more tired this go around and I think it’s due to the fact that my body doesn’t have “time” to rest with a 14 month old. I’m hoping the morning sickness subsides very soon. I swear I already look 12 weeks pregnant. I’m not even kidding. If this is any indication how I will look after the 9 months is up I am a little terrified of how I am going to look. I just have to keep reminding myself that the end product is completely worth it.
4 weeks, 5 days
5 weeks, 5 days
Wow, right? They aren't kidding when they say you get bigger quicker. I usually look this big after I eat. In the second picture I had just ate a baked potato and salad. Crazy.
We’ve been busy lately and I’ve got to do some catch up posts hopefully tomorrow. Okay, I lied…we haven’t really been any busier since my last post: date night and Father’s Day is pretty much the extent of “busy.”
Confession: I’ve just become all consumed with Christian Grey. Yup, I one of those sleazy moms who reads “porn” as Ryan calls it. I started 50 Shades of Grey on Monday evening and finished last night. Yes, I have been reading for hours on end and no I am not the least bit ashamed of it. I am lucky to have a best friend that I can talk to about it. She too is all about some mommy porn apparently…as well as the rest of the world. Ha!

Wyatt's Annoucement
He’s been searching high and low (mostly low) looking for a baby brother or sister to play with:
Wednesday, June 13, 2012
14 months old
14 months
-Weighs 27.8 lbs
-18-24 months clothes
-Size 6.5-7 shoes
-7 teeth (4 on top, 3 on bottom)
I cannot believe you are 14 months old! Time goes by entirely too fast. The biggest change has been you starting school 2 days a week. Today was your 3rd day and I think you are doing great. I am so thankful that you are an easily adaptable baby. You take two naps on the days you don’t have school and then one nap on the day that you do. Those school days we are lucky to keep you up until 7 and then you are dunzo. Your bedtime is 7 on school days and 7-8 on non-school days. You usually wake up between 7:30-8. You still love to eat any and every thing. You are coming around and starting to eat a little bit of potatoes. Still kind of blows my mind that you aren’t a fan. You would be outside 24/7 if we let you. Your vocabulary is very limited- mama, dada, and the gibberish. You will pick up your phone and say “hi.” You’ve started pointing and grunting at things you need. I tell you to “use your words” and identify things for you.You practically run everywhere you need to be. You still take a paci only at naps. I guess we are going to try and take it away at your 18 month mark even though I just knew we would have chucked it by your one year mark. Ha. How delusional were we. You give us the stink face when you aren’t getting what you want. You are happy to terrorize Marley. You climb up on the couch and try to steal his greenies. I’m not sure he even really likes you. You are finally signing "more." You have hidden many things from us. They can normally be found in the trash can or hampers. You love anything with buttons on them. You always lay down and press the buttons on your radio. I love it. You are just so much fun at this stage. You crack us up on a daily basis and we can’t get over how blessed we are to have you in our lives!
You also don't sit still long enough to get your picture taken.

Family Trout Fishing Trip
The past weekend we had our annual trout fishing/camping trip with my family on the White River.
It is so beautiful up there and it is truly one of my favorite places on Earth.
Wyatt was being quite the goofy little fella on the way up there.
Even giving us bad looks when we took his shades away.
We arrived early Friday afternoon, set up camp, and headed to Gassville to eat at Nima's pizza because it's all the rage as Ryan says. Okay, so maybe he doesn't really say that, but the pizza has actually won an award for the best pizza nationally in Vegas a couple of years ago so it was worth trying out. Ryan eats there visiting customers so he was a veteran. Wyatt and I were newbies and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Wyatt not as much as me, but still he got his tummy full.
We, well me and Wyatt, turned in fairly early on Friday night because we were pooped. But first we had to run around the camper before our bath.
We decided I would sleep in the bed with Wyatt while Ryan had the couch. I never realized what a wiggler I've got. I woke up with multiple arms hitting me and 3 times with a little booty in my face.
Notice how he is right smack in the middle of the bed. Ryan claims I am a bed-hog. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Saturday Wyatt got up about 7 so naturally so did we. Mom, Dad, and Jason were already out catching fish. We had breakfast watching the boats pass by.
Yes, he is terrified that someone is going to steal his milk.
While waiting our chance to go fishing (that afternoon) we took lots of strolls in the wagon down to spy on the others.
Here they are catching their fish. Over the weekend we caught 100+ trout! Of those 100, I caught one, but more on that later.
Wyatt got plenty of food to eat. Seriously I am pretty sure he gained about 3 pounds. Some of those pounds may or may not be rocks that he consumed.
Mom came in at noon so that Ryan and I could go fish. When I say I only caught one fish I meant that.
At least I have proof.
There is no proof that Ryan caught any.
This is clearly not my fault.
I do have proof that he bought a fancy new hat though.
Ryan is beginning to outfish me and I am not.a.fan.
This trip is quite the exception because seriously I caught my first fish within minutes of being on the water and then I was pretty much done. I had good reason I believe. I was exhausted.
Laying out while Ryan fished was much more appealing to me apparently. I felt bad because I was seriously not very much fun, clearly. At least Ryan forgave me for being so boring. Like I said, I was tired. Chasing around a toddler is work people. Work.
We ended up having so much yummy food both nights and I wish I had taken pictures of it...and my parents, and Wyatt's Uncle Jason, and Marley, and Doug and Di. I failed in the picture taking department...but remember when I said that a toddler work? Well, I worked this weekend... So did everyone else, but especially Wyatt's momma!
We came home Sunday and you can tell just how wore out the kiddos are. Out like lightbulbs. Oh look there- I did get a picture of Marley.
Bunney, next year it is ON. I will beat you. I'll even place a bet or two on it.

First day of "school"
Tuesday was a big day for Wyatt. He started "school!" It's so hard to believe that my little boy is big enough for this, but I guess it's time. He was ready (I think) to start playing with some other little kids his age.
Tuesday morning I was all alone trying to get him ready. Sadly, Ryan had to be out overnight for work so he had to miss it. Wyatt was more concerned with sweeping the floor than getting out the door.
Here is his "official" first day of school picture:
Insert AWWWWW here.
So cute! I am not going to lie, I straight up bawled on the way and shed one too many tears while I was there dropping him off. He cried too, but thankfully it was more of a sympathy cry for the other kids. He didn't really realize what was going on. Thank goodness. I call 2 hours after he had been there and they said he was doing great! That eased my heart. I had prayed and prayed that it would be a smooth transition for everyone and I believe it paid off. When I picked him up they said he had a great day! Yay!
Today, Ryan and I both took Wyatt to school.
As long as he had his lunch he was ready!
As we were walking in the director told us she saw Wyatt a lot yesterday and said that you would have never thought he was a newbie! That made me feel so much better about it all. I am so thankful that he is easily adaptable and getting to make some new friends. There was no tears from me and just barely a whine from him as we left. I hope he has a great second day!

Oh tomorrow
Nooooo!!!
I am so sad about, but also very excited for him. It's only 2 days a week for 6 hours at a time so I think I will be able to manage. One day I'll be at work and the second day will be "my" day I guess. He will get to play with lots of new friends all day and mommy will get lots of house work done take lots of naps.
Like I said, I have mixed emotions, so if you don't care to say a little prayer that the transition is easy for Wyatt, for myself, and that he gets treated well by his special teachers who I know will be great with and for him!
Oh Tuesday, I have never dreaded you so much!
P.S. Don't worry folks... remember this post? Well, he is in fact going to the place that we wanted. Yay!

Wyatt's first rodeo
Was tiring for his mommy and daddy.
Although you wouldn't be able to tell from the pictures.
It was a good time though. We drove for an hour, ate out Outback, wrangled a baby for an hour and a half if not more, and then drove the hour back home.
His Poppa Steve and Talina got to see him though so that's what counts.
See this little boy running toward the left?
Well he just rode one of those sheep. Yep. I kid you not. It was seriously the funniest thing I believe I had seen all week and I guarantee you I will try my darnedest to get Wyatt in the rodeo riding a sheep in about 3 years!
There is nothing sweeter than him walking alongside his daddy looking like such a big boy!
And I promise you I am not about to do a sprint. I had squatted down to take a picture with the baby, but he obviously had other plans.
It was a good evening and I can honestly say that I look forward to next years when maybe my little man isn't so squirmy and can actually appreciate the entertainment a little more.
